Memory correctness

Hava separates semantic authority, relevance, and confidence. Confidence measures certainty that a memory was expressed; it does not change the meaning of the memory.

Retrieval order

Explicit semantic concept/slot, current active state, topic relevance, semantic similarity, then confidence as a small tie-breaker.

Turn grounding

Acknowledgements such as “perfect you remember” cannot create durable memory. Context may resolve a correction, but cannot manufacture a fact not introduced or changed by the current user turn.

Inspectability

Development metadata includes the resolved query concept, candidate authority/score, and selected memory IDs so retrieval decisions can be audited.
